This book has been out for a while, but I was prompted to write about it recently.

Ernest Cline’s Ready Player One is aimed dead-centre at people born between around 1967 and 1977, who were geeks. There’s a lot to love in it and people of all ages – particularly those who enjoy a bit of geek culture – will enjoy it, but there are moments of “Omigod!” that you’d likely only have if you had a certain video game at your local Circle K.

Strange things are afoot in this page-turner, which I found to be a fine read.
